Running- An Experience

Its all started after indore marathon when i volunteered for the event and saw many people running i decided to start running prior to that i have not even ran 100 metres. I was not a athelete before that nor i have participated in any sports activity in my school or college life. Then the journey started with 1km walk n run at davv at that time my heart beat was more fast than my feet but gradually mileage increased to 10k . Now the turn around dr vp pandey advised me to join AIM and i joined AIM runners clinic at nehru stadium the various strength and corr workouts there aided to my running and brought a lot of improvement in running form pace etc. My personal experience with running is dont run after speed as it will lead to injuries run at the comfortable pace or at the pace where u enjoy running. Pace will follow as and more frequent your run would be. Its the running mania that had helped me to loss 10 kg and to leave a healthy life. Its an addiction and a good one also in just 10 months training i have run several half marathons and now eyeing towards my first full marathon at SCMM this year. And above all running has given me so many good friends to cherish for lifetime.So keep running stay fit stay healthy .
